We revolve around food at Rooted, we always try and get a meal involved into the day somehow. We concentrate on the food we all eat at Rooted being locally sourced, healthy and preferably including something we have grown ourselves.
Paul is our qualified maestro in the kitchen and together, especially in the early part of the year, we can plan for the types of food we think we can use the most. Some of Paul’s soups from the past years have been lauded across the city, but his recent “Curried Pumkin” from our Brew Monday event made it onto local BBC Radio!
Our well equipped kitchen allows us to cater events, as well as run our weekly activities, allowing our community members the opportunity to develop personal skills in a relaxed environment, where we can all find some space to grow.
